This kindle book is the first book in a new series featuring a robot named Bot and his pet android named Tool Bot. In this first volume, Bot is five and anticipating his birthday. What he really wants as a gift is a junior space cruiser to go exploring the galaxy. His mother allows him to take a short trip, but she warns him not to go far. Of course, Bot and his android get lost and crash on a planet that looks a lot like Earth. They meet up with a steam engine named Milo, who looks old fashioned, but don't be deceived. He will take them to a special place named Cashmere City. Lots of surprises await them. More is coming...the reader is given an introduction to some of the characters in the series and is invited to stay tuned for the rest of the series.I have never seen more beautiful kindle illustrations. The colors and images literally leap out at the reader. It looks like this series will be a hit with preschoolers and younger readers. Can't wait to see what is coming in the next book!

Just read this book my five year old and he he can't wait to see what will happen next. The characters are cute and the images are so colorful and detailed.
I have a 3 year old girl who goes through books like crazy and in an effort to curb the costs of buying printed books that don't seem to hold her interest very long I turned to our kindle fire. She and I sat down one day and started looking for her first "digital" book. I had it in mind to buy something "princess" like and maybe a bit educational-that was until she saw the Bot book. I don't know what caught her eye or why she went all "space robot adventure" on me but nothing I said could make her change her mind about the Bot!. We bought the book and she just loved every single page, we've read it 7 or 8 hundred times and it seems like every time she finds something new and exclaims "I didn't see that before"- it is a very detailed book with great colors and brilliantly detailed graphics. The colors of this book displayed on the kindle fire HD are stunning and even though it is for children I find myself, once again, wishing there was something like this when I was a kid.

it was a good storyline however for my 11yr-old it was too easy to read for her
My son loves this book, but he hates the ending. It just stops and he keeps asking me about the rest of the story. Anxiously awaiting next book.
